Sound System Rendevouz the first edition of music gathering is scheduled for Friday November 14th, Boogaloo Club Zagreb, Croatia. All the music will be played on Seasplash Sound System: KaliKamo concert, AmpliFyah Music Crew, Systamatic & DUBMX, MMMeniga and Sea Sound Crew sessions. This is the First time in local history that a sound system will be set up in a club of this capacity.
KaliKamo is a local five-piece band that seamlessly blend sound system culture, deep bass frequencies, the distorted energy of the French dub scene, extravagant and trippy synth maneuvers, razor-sharp drumming, masterful looping, melodic tar performances, processed vocals, and mesmerizing spoken word segments. Their debut album “Jedinstvo” was published in February digitally and on vinyl, for PDV records, it peaked as number 1 selling album in the country for several months. KaliKamo features: Roko Margeta (KudiKamo?, Kosan, Dunja Knebl, Gnomad) on keyboards, analog synths, tar, and loopers; Đuro Dobranić (KudiKamo?, Je Veux) on drums; Dino Mudrić handling gear and effects; Ognjen Zečević – Egoless, guitar, sax, recording, mix and production; and Chakka Svraka (BarabaDUB Sound System, Kali Fat Dub) on vocals.
Gathered around Dr.Obi and Anja G, AmpliFyah Music is an independent publishing platform from Zagreb, for affirmed dub and reggae producers and artists that supports and promotes their presence on local, European and world-wide scene.
Systamatic and DUBMX are joining forces at the decks, with their rootwise and dub selections the duo guarantees great dance time.
Behind the name MMMeniga is a organization member, plays records since he was a kid, looking forward bringing another dub selection.
Tickets Sound System Rendevouz
Tickets are on sale for 15 euros until October 31st, after November 1st their price will be 20 euros. At the gates the ticket price will be 25 euros. Tickets are avaliable online and offline via Stereoticket, Entrio and Core event.
