The second edition of the Sea Sound Festival was held on 17-20 July 2025 at Martinska in Šibenik, Croatia. A celebration of sound system culture, a relaxed atmosphere, incredibly good concerts and DJ sets marked four days near Šibenik. The festival brought together over 40 artists that performed on three stages, each powered by its own custom made sound system.

The First Day, July 17
Sea Sound started strong, as far as musical names are concerned – on the Live Sound Stage climbed the UK legends Channel One Sound System, Mikey Dread’s selection made all the carribean music fans dance. After them the local duo Banana zvuk justified the status of favorite musicians of the local audience, but also colleagues from the scene. Dubmx warmed up the stage before them. Bass Sound Stage on the first day vibrated to the rhythm of drum and bass, which was in charge of the female DJ forces – Nineva, Sora and Ela. The opening of the festival and the Roots Sound Stage was in the hands of young local acts Hvalasven, Miki Delay and Systamatic.
The Second Day, July 18
A breath of punk, ska rhythm and sharp lyrics was brought by P.A.I.N, the legendary band from the United Kingdom, this Sea Sound concert is one of their rare live performances in recent times. Lazy Face from Bulgaria and Kranks from Varaždin gave us a good introduction to the story, while Jin-San made a phenomenal finale with his drum and bass set on the Live Sound Stage, which was powered by Seasplash Sound System. On the second day, the Bass Sound Stage was reserved for the Roadtripper crew, the team that sounded the stage with the Roadtripper Sound System – Roadtripper, Little Vex, Flico, Feeks, San Andrea and Martina. The selection for Roots Sound Stage was in charge of Prevara – Kani, Kiwi and Lasmo, and they played on their Pevara Sound System.
The Third Day, July 19
It’s hard to find the words to describe the third day, just as it was hard to find the time to listen to all the phenomenal performances that we had the privilege to hear. On the Live Sound Stage we started off strong, the guests from Madrid DJ Saxe & Viti Nosabefingir with their hip-hop in Spanish and an excellent selection of hip-hop and reggae tracks stirred up the audience and became one of the biggest pleasant surprises of the festival. After them, Italian legend Pablo Raster honored us with his selection, as he himself pointed out Sea Sound is one of the few events he came to perform at in last years. Dubblestandart from Vienna continued this sequence and delighted the audience with their live dub performance. The end of the evening was reserved for Plazmatick, a Croatian producer who made the audience dance. During the evening on the Bass Sound, Maya, Jan Becele and Grumen dominated with their dark dub selection. The opening acts of the third day on Roots Sound were Aggregate Sun, Lazy Face and Inka.
The Fourth Day, July 20
A perfectly pleasant summer day, bathed in sunshine and refreshed by breeze, was rounded-off by an open set by Seasplash crew and friends. The open decks system and DJ exchanges throughout the day until the night, were the perfect end to this four-day music adventure that. Various selections were perfectly spiced by Dr.Obi and Anja G. And finally, thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to the second edition of the Sea Sound Festival, let’s do this again!
