Crew RH Rockers Gwaan Go Do It at the Sea Sound Festival

The first of many DJ crews to spice up the Sea Sound Festival is a trio called RH Rockers Gwaan Go Do It! The selectors Miki Delay, Hvalasven and Systamatic joined in a crew called RH Rockers Gwaan Go Do It, performing together at the second edition of the Sea Sound Festival. Their selection will be heard at the Martinska in Šibenik, at the sea sound festival by the sea, held July 17 – 20!

Miki Delay

Miki Delay is a selector with an extensive musical background, who has been playing and singing in various bands since his teenage days, and has been actively DJing since 2018. Through the years, it passes through a wide range of musical genres and environments and eventually finds its way into roots and culture and reggae sound. Mickey is a music lover, and much of his collection consists of vinyl, CDs, and cassettes. For five years, he has been a resident of the Zagreb Funk Club and Melina, and has made numerous and various appearances throughout Croatia and at open air festivals. Although you can usually catch him in clubs and indoor venues, for Seasound he’s preparing a real roots reggae and rocksteady treat outdoors, in a slightly different spirit.

Hvalasven

Hvalasven is a producer and selector from Ivanić-Grad, whose musical journey began in 2017 with the world music catalog. His selection started with Ethiopian music and reggae from the African continent, and today we can listen to him on soundsystem sessions, where his approach includes the inclusive Roots and Culture philosophy, with the sounds of rockers records from the golden era of the 70s and 80s, as well as the “digi killer” hits of the 90s. From the legendary Revolutionaries riddim to the late Bullwackies productions, each needle drop is a unique journey through time and culture!

Systamatic

Systamatic through her love of sound and bass guitar found love for reggae music. After attending audio engineering workshops by Dr.Obi in the club DVA OSAM, she did an internship at the last Seasplash Festival and joined the technical team of the club. So far, she has mostly rootswise selections and has been featured on Seasplash Sound System, Devari and RoadTripper Sound System.
